comprehensive five-part school program:
Vann connects with students by sharing his personal journey—growing up in a big family, serving on a submarine, building relationships with Special Operations forces, and even jumping out of an airplane. Students see themselves in his story.
Three awards are presented: The Good Citizen (student), Most Improved (student), and Superhero (teacher). Military challenge coins are given to students who interact during the keynote. Kids don't care how much Vann knows until they know how much he cares.
